My wife and I returned last night to Browns Market Bistro (we had eaten there a couple of times last year). There is an energetic, creative chef (Zach) in charge here. The atmosphere is very pleasant (soft jazz in the background), the service friendly and efficient, and the food absolutely excellent. Browns now has a liquor license and has stocked in a very nice selection of wines, with several bottles in the low $20s, house wine by the glass for $4 and a good selection of Vermont micro-brew beers. We will be back (and tempted to try a pizza at some point too!!).

We had dinner there tonight and the food was great! We highly recommend that you give it a try. It's wonderful to have a great restaurant in little 'ol Groton.
